Great Win at a Great Price

Nov 17, 2014

Great Inagua capped off an up and down weekend for BB Racing in the last race at the Sunshine Coast yesterday.

With three runners engaged the weekend the stable got the G20 long weekend off to a flying start when recent addition Mum Said No saluted the judge at Caloundra.

Though things weren't so good on Saturday when The Right One decided to stand in the gates and give her rivals a 20 length head start.

The Sequalo mare had chased her stablemate Pandora Charm home on Melbourne Cup day at Doomben and looked a huge chance in her race but things weren't meant to be.

However back at Caloundra in the sweltering heat yesterday it was Great Inagua's turn to shine.

The four year old gelding has been ultra consistant this time in and was posting his second win from his last three runs.

Ridden by Jim Byrne he stormed home to beat the hot favourite WIll's Choice.

The Rum Dum owned chestnut has now won four of his 18 starts and been placed a further 5 times.
