Bound To Go leads all the way

May 16, 2014

Lightly raced four-year-old Bound To Go has got his maiden win out of the road early - breaking through at start two at Ipswich on Friday in the MJV Plumbing & Gasfitters Maiden Plate (1350m).

Having got back in the field in debut, from the outsider barrier the son of Benicio pressed forward and kept running to win by over a length with Chris Munce aboard. The horse was given just shy of a month to take in his first start at the Gold Coast on April 21 and looked to have taken good improvement from the experience.

Bound To Go had trialed up well at Doomben on three occasions prior to his debut run.

He is from the smart two time winning mare Gabrielle’s Girl.
