Pandora Charm wins at the Gold Coast

May 24, 2014

Pandora Charm made it consecutive wins around the Gold Coast circuit on Saturday scoring comfortably for favorite backers in the $13,000 Alice & Peter Diamond Anniversary Cup Handicap (1200m).

With 15 months in between the three-year-old’s first two wins owners have been gifted two in nine days having won at the both the 15 May and 24 May meetings.

Different tactics under different hands were applied in both winning with a front running style under the guidance of Chris Munce a week earlier. Sent out $2.40 favorite the daughter of Monashee Mountain demolished her rivals winning by close to eight lengths.

In her Class 2 win on Saturday the win was equally as impressive when once again sent around favorite with apprentice Sairyn Fawke steering. From barrier four the horse settled midfield but showed good acceleration in the home straight to win comfortably.

Into her fourth campaign things are starting to take shape with Pandora Charm now and owners should be rewarded with plenty more wins yet.
